Description
|

EXTENDED HEAD
LIFE magnetic stripe reader in a
small package. Head rated 1000000 passes!
Reader inputs credit or debit account
information from credit card into
applicable EDC program for automatic
authorization. 3 track units are AAMVA
magnetic stripe (drivers license)
compatible. Single LED indicates green
when power on - off during read - red
after unsuccessful read. 4 inches L x
1-3/8 inches W x 1-1/8 inches H. Indoor
use only.

Mounting:
Can be permanently affixed to surface
using two (2) 3mm/50 mm pitch metric
screws (not provided -, length of the
screws used depends on mounting surface
thickness) or superlock (VelcroTM-style)
fasteners for mounting to most any smooth
surface. (Note: Superlock fasteners not
supplied with RS232 units.)

RS232
Interface: Cable with DB9F connector.
Reader requires DTR from host (DB9
pin 4) to provide 5-15VDC. No
external power supply required.

USB
Interface: Single cable with USB
connector attaches to your computer's
USB port. (Windows automatically
configures the USB reader to send
data to the keyboard buffer.)
